Abstract

An indium-catalyzed three-component coupling reaction of alkynes, amines, and trimethylsilyl cyanide provides quaternary α-aminonitrile derivatives via hydroamination of the alkyne and a subsequent nucleophilic addition of Me₃SiCN.
