Abstract

A tridentate ligand for the asymmetric catalysis of Nozaki-Hiyama allowed the allylation and methallylation of various aldehydes with good enantioselectivity. Another remarkable feature of this ligand is the stability of the Cr-ligand complex which can be recovered and recycled.
