Abstract
The lanthanide triflates catalyzed Kabachnik-Fields reaction gave excellent yields in ionic liquids under MW irradiation. All of the examined catalysts showed higher activity in [bmin][BF4] and [bmin][PF6] than in other ionic liquids.
