Abstract
Appel reactions of alcohols with fluorous phosphine---carbon tetrabromide in toluene or in a biphasic toluene-FC-72 system afforded the corresponding bromides in good yields. Simple liquid-liquid extraction separates the fluorous-phosphine oxide from the product.
Zusammenfassung
Appel-Reaktionen von Alkoholen mit Fluorphasen-Phosphin---Kohlenstofftetrabromid in Toluol oder in einem zweiphasigen Toluol-FC-72-System führten zu den entsprechenden Bromiden in guten Ausbeuten. Simple Extraktion erlaubt die Trennung von Fluorphasen-Phosphinoxid vom Produkt.
