Abstract
Two high-loading Horner-Emmons ring-opening metathesis polymers can be used for the synthesis of α,β-unsaturated ethyl esters (E:Z > 99:1) and α,β-unsaturated nitriles (E:Z > 70:30) in excellent yields and purities from aldehydes with minimal purification.
