Abstract

Commercially available Pd(P(t-Bu)3)2 catalyzes an effecient Negishi cross-coupling of a wide range of aryl and vinyl chlorides with aryl- and alkylzinc reagents. The process tolerates nitro groups, and  efficiently generates sterically hindered biaryls.
