Abstract
The Kumada cross-coupling reaction of various unactivated aryl chlorides, vinyl chlorides, and heteroaryl chlorides catalyzed by very active nickel(II) complexes containing pyridine-functionalized NHC ligands proceeds at room temperature in excellent yields.
