Abstract

Copper-catalyzed coupling reactions of aryl chlorides, aryl bromides, and aryl iodides with various phenols successfully proceeded in good yields under mild conditions using (2-pyridyl)acetone as ligand. This reaction displays great functional groups compatibility and excellent selectivity.
