Abstract

In the presence of CuI and Cs₂CO₃, a variety of thiols reacted with arylpropiolic acids to afford the corresponding vinyl sulfides in good to excellent yields with high stereoselectivity for Z-isomers via a decarboxylative cross-coupling.
