Abstract
A concise, efficient and green "one-pot" synthesis of 4-substituted 1,5-diaryl-1H-pyrazole-3-carboxylic acids was composed of MeONa/LiCl-mediated sterically hindered Claisen condensation, Knorr reaction and hydrolysis.
