Abstract
A magnesium(II)-mediated Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reaction of bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)phosphonoacetate derivatives with disubstituted ketenes enables the synthesis of tri- and tetrasubstituted allenes including α-fluorinated allenyl carboxamides.
