Abstract

A novel and efficient Cu(I)-catalyzed ligand- and base-free multipathway domino strategy for the synthesis of 2-substituted quinazolinones utilizes TMSN₃ as a nitrogen source, 2-bromobenzamide and multiform substrates such as aldehydes, alcohols, and methyl arenes for a one-pot protocol.
