Abstract
A highly reactive and confined imidodiphosphorimidate (IDPi) catalyst enables a direct enantioselective synthesis of substituted oxygen heterocycles from lactol acetates and enolsilanes. Various chiral oxygen heterocycles, including tetrahydrofurans, tetrahydropyrans, oxepanes, chromans, and dihydrobenzofurans, were obtained in excellent enantioselectivities.
