Abstract
Diaryl formation from phenols and (hetero)aryl halides is achieved in the presence of very low loadings of CuI and N,N'-bis(2-phenylphenyl) oxalamide (BPPO) or N-(2-phenylphenyl)-N'-benzyl oxalamide (PPBO) as ligands at 90°C using DMF or MeCN as the solvent.
