Abstract
An efficient hydroboration of aliphatic 1,1-disubstituted alkenes with pinacolborane using a chiral phosphine-Cu catalyst provides enantiomerically enriched β-chiral alkyl pinacolboronates from a range of 1,1-disubstituted alkenes with high enantioselectivity.
