Abstract

A Tf₂NH-catalyzed aza-Ferrier reaction of N,O-allenyl acetals provides β-amino-α-methylene aldehydes. The N,O-allenyl acetal substrates were easily prepared by base-induced isomerization of N,O-propargyl acetals with Triton B.
