Abstract

A Rh-catalyzed asymmetric allylation followed by a Tschitschibabin reaction enables a highly regio- and enantioselective synthesis of 3-allylindolizines in very good yield and high ee with the help of tert-butyl-substituted chiral bisoxazolinephosphine ligand.
