Abstract

A palladium-catalyzed C(sp²)-H allylation/aminopalladation/β-H elimination/isomerization sequence enables an annulation reaction of N-sulfonyl amides and allylbenzenes to construct isoquinolinones and pyridinones in good yield in the presence of air as the terminal oxidant.
