Abstract
An oxygen-free, electrochemical palladium-catalyzed oxidative carbonylation of arylhydrazines with alkynes avoids the explosion hazard of CO. This variant of a carbonylative Sonogashira reaction efficiently provides ynones from easily accessible arylhydrazines and alkynes under copper-free conditions.
