Abstract

N,N'-Bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)oxalamide (BPMO) is an efficient ligand for the Cu-catalyzed N-arylation of oxazolidinones and amides with (hetero)aryl iodides at room temperature. The reactions offer excellent chemoselectivity between aryl iodides and aryl bromides and tolerate a wide range of functional groups.
