Abstract
A BODIPY dye catalyzes an efficient and mild rearrangement of oximes to amides or hydrolysis to ketones/aldehydes under visible light irradiation in the presence of air as an oxidant. The triplet excited state of BODIPY played a significant role in the catalytic process.
