Abstract
Visible light induces an efficient and facile 3-alkyl chromone synthesis from easily accessible o-hydroxyaryl enaminones and α-diazo esters under mild conditions. This additive-free method provides excellent yields with a broad substrate scope at room temperature, tolerating various functional groups.
