Abstract
Solid amidophosphine boranes were synthesized to replace more commonly used borane reagents. These compounds demonstrated excellent reactivity and functional group tolerance toward a wide variety of nitriles, alkynes, and carboxylic acids, affording the corresponding ammonium salts, alkenes, and alcohols in good yield.
