Abstract
CeO2 nanorods catalyze the borylation of alkyl halides and aryl iodides with B2pin2. A wide range of synthetically useful boronate esters are readily obtained demonstrating broad utility and functional group tolerance. The catalyst can be reused for up to six runs without appreciable loss in activity.
