Abstract

Platinum oxide is a versatile and powerful hydrosilylation catalyst for alkenes. Tolerance of various functional groups (amines, epoxides, nitriles, carbon acids and esters), highly reproducible results and easy removal make this catalyst a useful tool for hydrosilylation.
